CSM Industrial Storage Exhibited at National Manufacturing Week 2012
CSM showcased its range of premium quality, Industrial products at National Manufacturing Week (from the 8th of May - 11th of May). This exhibition generated great interest from those who attended through the display of industrial drawer cabinets with mobile options, heavy duty industrial cabinets, lockers, work benches and tool trolleys. Alongside CSM's products that were exhibited included MECA Racking Solutions which presented their range of long span shelving and heavy duty cantilever racking.

Thinking of Moving? Don't Forget the Records
In every relocation there is a tension between competing elements including lease costs, fitout costs, green star ratings, location, provision of workspaces, meeting rooms, break out areas (cafes), client meeting areas, reception and storage capacity for records, reference material, marketing items, gym bags and myriad other items. All too often storage is poorly considered as a result of underlying assumptions of "everyone should be working electronically" and "they just need to clean up". The standard catch cry is allow a pedestal at the desk and a shelf in local storage. Unfortunately this is often totally inadequate and at other times way too much.
In association with CSM, Prime Care Australia Consultancy are frequently called upon to review Records and Storage requirements for organisations when they are preparing to relocate to new premises. We are sometimes called upon after the relocation when Records and Storage has not been adequately catered for.
To get the right provision of storage requires a detailed assessment that identifies:
* every collection of records and other items,
* why it is kept onsite,
* its volume,
* where it needs to be kept,
* what growth or reduction projections are,
* what can be cleaned out and what can’t,
* archiving policies and their impact,
* regulatory requirements,
* filing methodologies,
* work practice impacts,
* potential or actual use of electronic document management processes and systems
