After seeing the success of the works completed by CSM at a similar school in the Illawarra region, the south side Public School engaged CSM to design a tailored suite of storage solutions as a direct response to supporting innovative and collaborative learning.

The Administration store and work room had accumulated various types of shelving over a long period of time. It was inefficient and didn’t meet the School’s needs in terms of storage and space economy. As a result, the area was cluttered with items often stored on the floor making it difficult to access and posing a potential OH&S risk.

CSM worked closely with the project team to increase storage space within the existing area. The scope of works included supply of a Rolling Storage Self Based Manual Unit along with Tambour Door Cabinets and an Open Bookcase Unit.

Flexible shelving options replaced fixed-in joinery allowing the school to customise each area and adapt as needs change over time

Modular and freestanding, the CSM Self Based Rolling Storage is fully self-contained and can be easily relocated, extended, reconfigured, refurbished or up-cycled making it the perfect choice for academic institutions.
