A LOOK BACK AT 2016

It’s been a busy year for us here at CSM and as the year comes to a close we take a moment to look back at some of our favourite projects of 2016.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients and those that have supported our business this year and who continue to accompany us through into 2017.  It’s been a productive year for us and we hope that it’s been a great year for you too!

Here is a quick review of some our recent projects.

KPMG

CSM proudly provided the storage solutions including 6500 Electronic Kache Lockers for KPMG’s new offices at Barangaroo and Melbourne.

The project team was comprised of Davenport Campbell, EGO Group and Wilson Project Management whilst construction was delivered by Lend Lease and  Brookfield Multiplex for Sydney and Melbourne respectively.  A case study for this project is coming soon on our website.

ICARE

CSM was specified to provide a variety of high-density storage products for Icare’s new office fitout in Sydney. Our storage and workstation solutions have been implemented into some of the largest Government agencies nationally.

Designed by dwp/suters and built by SHAPE this government office project spanned 5 levels and brought together four diverse existing business units that had previously been distributed over various locations throughout the Sydney CBD. The Base build including the beautiful timber panelling pictured was designed by HDR Rice Daubney and constructed by Intrec.

ROADS AND MARITIME SERVICES // ROZELLE

The refurbishment and fit-out of the Roads and Maritime Services building at Rozelle was designed by Collard Maxwell and built by AW Edwards. The project included the the strip out of the existing internal office space and refurbishment of approximately 4000 square metres over 2 levels.

CSM was specified to manufacture and install Electronic Smart Lockers to provide secure storage to accommodate the new agile working environment.

JEMENA // MELBOURNE

Connection and collaboration was the key design driver for this new workplace designed by Woods Bagot. At 15,000sqm the project includes 5 new levels of workspace and two client floors. The project was executed in conjunction with FDC Construction and Montlaur.

CSM was awarded the storage package by FDC Construction. Our local manufacturing capabilities allowed for the project to be delivered on schedule. CSM created a diverse product mix to cater to the client’s storage specifications.

ROCHE DIAGNOSTICS

Roche is the world’s largest biotech company and a global pioneer in pharmaceuticals and diagnostics.  Their Sydney offices were recently relocated to Julius Avenue, North Ryde. The project was completed by Siren Design and built by Graphite Projects.

CSM was specified to provide a diverse variety of storage products designed to accommodate both Roche’s administrative and personnel storage needs.

CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD

Cushman & Wakefield is a leading global private commercial real estate services company. The Australian headquarters were recently relocated to new offices on 1 O’Connell Street Sydney.

Architecture firm Bates Smart was assigned the design project with the build undertaken by Schiavello Constructions.

CSM worked with the design team and Spacemaster Record Management  to provide high density and secure storage solutions for this project. We manufactured and installed Secure Self based Rolling Storage to meet the client’s specifications as well as personal storage for staff requirements.

TARONGA ZOO

Taronga Zoo recently embarked on a series of refurbishment projects undertaken across the campus in order to upgrade the organisation’s administrative facilities.

CSM provided storage products for two concurrent projects undertaken by different designers and builders for the Zoo’s on-going facilities upgrade project. CSM was specified for different projects in order to facilitate the aesthetic continuity of the storage provided as well as provide long- term storage solutions.

The first project for The Taronga Institute of Science and Learning was designed by NBRS + Partners and built by Graphite Projects. CSM worked closely on the design elements for this project providing a product mix to cater to the Zoo’s storage specifications.  The second project for the refurbishment of Taronga Centre’s Office was designed by Alasdair Macdonald and built by MPA.

HOLIDAYS

Please note we will be taking a short break over the holidays. The CSM office will be closed from Thursday 22^nd of December 2016 to Wednesday the 11th of January 2017.
