This highly specialised installation for the Mammology Department of the Australian Museum, required the integration of some key design features. Firstly, Vermin holes were integrated into the cabinets, to enable staff to check for any pests that may threaten the conservation of the mammals. Secondly, the large Rolling Storage unit was required to accommodate the existing Mammology cabinets, so the fragile specimens were able to remain in their original casings, and not be disturbed. |
